A powerful North Pacific storm produced high wind and blizzard conditions in the Central Aleutians and high wind in the eastern Aleutians. The peak winds in the Eastern Aleutians was 68 KT and winds peaked at 69 KT on the Alaska Peninsula. Wind gusts over 60 mph combined with snow produce blizzard conditions in Atka.
