Five to eight inches of snow fell at the higher elevations.

The second in a series of winter storm moved quickly through interior Northern California. It brought a moderate amount of snow and rain to the area, but came on the heels of a much more significant winter storm. Areas that were still digging out and drying out from the previous storm were delayed in their recovery as travelers headed toward their holiday destinations.
