Up to a foot of snow fell at the higher elevations.

A strong winter storm moved through interior Northern California the weekend prior to Thanksgiving. The storm was cold enough to result in snow falling in the foothill regions of the Coastal, Northern, and Sierra Nevada Mountain ranges while also wet enough to produce more than six feet of snow at the highest elevations of the Sierra Nevada.
