A wind gust of 42 knots (48 mph) from the south was measured at Pulaski Shoal Light.
Wider weather episode
A line of strong thunderstorms moved rapidly through Dry Tortugas and the Gulf of Mexico Waters west of Key West. Discrete thunderstorm cells developed south of Marathon and moved northeast, resulting in a few waterspout sightings and wind damage on Grassy Key.
