Event narrative

A commercial building along Avenue A and Highway 23 was damaged. The front door was ripped off. Five employees toook shelter in a closet during the event.

Wider weather episode

Upper level disturbances moving over a very warm and unstable airmass produced numerous reports of severe weather, as well as isolated flash flooding.
