Eight inches of water was covering Highway 23 south of Belle Chasse. Moderate to heavy street flooding occurred across northern Plaquemines Parish.

Upper level disturbances moving over a very warm and unstable airmass produced numerous reports of severe weather, as well as isolated flash flooding.
