A Weather Underground site reported gusts to 35 knots as a strong storm crossed the station and continued offshore.
Wider weather episode
A squall line exited the mainland and crossed the intracoastal and nearshore coastal waters. Strong wind gusts occurred from Volusia County to St. Lucie County. Two waterspouts were reported offshore the Brevard County coastline.
