The wider storm
Strong and gusty northwest to north winds developed across sections of Southwestern California. The strongest northwest winds developed across the Antelope Valley with gusts at high as 67 MPH reported. Strong north winds developed across the Santa Ynez Range (in Santa Barbara County) with sustained winds of 40 MPH reported.
