Strong northerly winds developed through the Santa Ynez Range. The Montecito RAWS sensor reported sustained winds between 40 and 48 MPH with gusts between 59 and 72 MPH.

Strong and gusty northerly winds developed across the Santa Ynez Range in Santa Barbara County and the Los Angeles County mountains. Sustained winds in excess of 40 MPH and gusts in excess of 65 MPH were reported.
