Event narrative

Urban flooding was reported in Dorado. Several roads in Barrio Higuillar, Barrio Puertos, Dorado Del Mar neighborhood, downtown streets and exit ramps of highway PR-22 were flooded.

Wider weather episode

An induced low level trough combined with ample moisture to produce scattered heavy slow moving showers across north central Puerto Rico. Radar estimated rainfall amounts of 3 to 5 inches mainly over the municipality of Dorado.
