A brief funnel cloud was observed on the base of a strengthening thunderstorm west of the Spokane WFO. The funnel cloud coincided with the timing of two merging cells.

Wider weather episode

A strong thunderstorm produced a brief funnel cloud while crossing from Lincoln County into Spokane County just northeast of Reardan on the evening of April 6th. An employee working at the Spokane WFO viewed the funnel cloud.
