Event narrative

A waterspout was observed about one mile south of Cow Key Channel. Several small funnel clouds were also observed from the base of a developing cumulus cloud line extending along the southern shoreline of the Lower Flordia Keys.

Wider weather episode

A towering cumulus cloud line produced waterspouts in the nearshore Atlantic waters south of Key West.
