Boyd and Joliet received 7 inches of snow.

Wider weather episode

A strong weather system moved south out of British Columbia and across Idaho into Wyoming. Heavy, wet snow occurred across the upslope areas of the Beartooth and Crazy Mountains. In addition, isentropic flow combined with Pacific moisture ahead of the system hit the eastern zones with 6-8 inches of snow across Custer and Fallon Counties.
