Multiple four inch limbs were down on the campus of the University of Mary Washington.

A warm and moist airmass remained over the region during the 27th. A surface trough provided the lifting mechanism for more showers and thunderstorms to develop. Copious amounts of instability caused some thunderstorms to become severe.
