A 52-year old male died in Fort Worth due to heat. He was found in his vehicle during the late afternoon hours. He had no underlying health problems that also contributed to his death.

Two heat related deaths occurred on June 4th; one directly related and the other indirectly related. A 52-year old male was found inside his car in Fort Worth during the late afternoon hours. The medical examiner determined he died from hyperthermia. Temperatures on this day were in the mid to upper 90s and a heat advisory was not in effect. Also, the medical examiner determined heat was a contributing factor in the death of a 51-year old Denton man, but the heat was not a main factor in his death.
