Thunderstorm winds blew trees down on Hazel Hollow Road at the Radford Bridge. Damage values are estimated.

Wider weather episode

Early morning convection developed along an outflow boundary in advance of an approaching cold front. By the afternoon, strong to severe storms occurred as increasing temperatures helped to destabilize the atmosphere even further. A mixture of damaging winds and large hail occurred.
