At approximately 630 PM, a 24 year old male was struck by lightning in his driveway in Fairview Township, York County. He died early on June 20th.

The wider storm

Widespread severe weather occurred on this day. Thunderstorms initiated in a warm and humid airmass ahead of a strong cold front moving eastward through the Ohio Valley. One storm produced and EF-0 tornado between Muncy and Hughesville in Lycoming county. In addition, a 24-year-old male was struck by lightning and killed in his driveway in York county.
