The Gulf of Mexico's turbulent surf claimed its second drowning victim of the summer season when an out of state visitor drowned in Gulf Shores. The 43 year old male was swimming with other people when he got in trouble in the rough surf and drowned. Later the same day, two separate distressed swimmers had to be safely pulled from the rough water.
