Event narrative

A camping trailer was overturned on Campers Way, with minor injuries to seven occupants. Another trailer at this site was knocked off its supporting jack.

Numerous trees were blown down in the area as well, with one tree on a vehicle.

Wider weather episode

Widely scattered thunderstorms developed over the Upstate from late morning into the early evening hours. The storms in the late afternoon produced a couple areas of significant wind damage over the western part of the upstate.
