Dense fog developed during the early morning hours over the Rolling Plains and South Plains. In Dickens county, a fatality vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Farm to Market Road 264 and U.S. Highway 82 at 805am CST. The driver of the vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign and drove into the path of a semi-truck killing the two passengers. The drivers of the semi-truck were uninjured.
