A large waterspout was reported between the coastal waters of Anasco and Mayaguez and was associated with a strong thunderstorm that was moving west northwest.

Low level moisture and light southeast surface winds combined to produce favorable conditions for waterspout development.

Began near Rincon Lighthouse (18.3700, -67.2700).
