Blizzard conditions in the Wind River Mountains were the result of the passage of a strong cold front that brought moderate snow and strong wind to the area. Travel was difficult in the mountains and nearby locations. A band of heavy snow clipped southwest Sweetwater County where a rancher reported 12 inches of new snow.
