Event narrative

Many locations received between 8 and 16 inches of snow with Lamoille coming in with 20 inches. Most of the snowfall occurred west of the Ruby Mountains and East Humboldt range.

Wider weather episode

A strong storm system brought heavy snow to portions of northern and central Nevada. Some lower elevations sites received over 1 foot of snow.
