Wind gusts up to 74 mph were observed at the Warm Springs Summit Mesonet site, gusts up to 62 mph at the Quima Peak RAWS, and 59 mph at the Current Creek RAWS.

Wider weather episode

A strong cold front moving across northern and central Nevada brought wind gusts as high as 83 mph which caused some structural damage and blew several vehicles off the highway.
