NWAC station at Mt Baker recorded 13 inches snow in 12 hours ending 5 am Feb 18 and 26 inches during warning period. NWAC station at Stevens Pass Hwy recorded 28 inches snow during warning period.

Wider weather episode

A strong front and moist westerly flow in its wake produced heavy snow in the Cascades. 3 different avalanches killed 4 and injured one.
