This waterspout was photographed by a member of the public, who sent it to an NWS weather spotter. They, in turn, sent the picture to WFO Medford the following day.

A waterspout developed just off the southern Oregon Coast just south of Pistol River. A picture of it was sent to WFO Medford a day later.
