An ice jam formed on the Tanana River near the mouth of the Salcha River during the evening hours on the 23rd. The ice jam caused water to back up into the Starkeyville subdivision. Several homes were surrounded by water and the road entering the subdivision was under water. The ice jam released during the early morning hours on the 25th which ended the flooding. Areas of standing water remained in the area.
