Several ice jams from Russian Mission to Pilot Station caused water to back up at Marshall. By 1000AKST on the morning of the 18th water inundated the road to the airport and the meadow at the lower end of town. By 1300AKST on the 21st the water levels receded as the back edge of the ice was about 5 miles downriver of Marshall.
