Heavy rain caused the Pudding River at Aurora to overflow its banks and flood low lying areas. The Pudding River crested at 23.8 feet on April 1st at 8 pm PST, 1.8 feet above flood stage.
Wider weather episode
A strong Pacific cold front brought heavy rains to Western Oregon bringing high water levels on many rivers with the Pudding River rising above flood stage.
