A mid-level impulse ejecting from a deep area of low pressure along the Washington Coast tracked through the Idaho Panhandle during the early morning hours of June 24rd. The mid-level energy encountered a very moist and unstable air mass in place resulting in scattered thunderstorms, one which reached severe limits. Large hail was the main threat with this storm.
