A waterspout was observed approximately 3 miles to the northeast of Boca Chica Key by a Naval Air Station Key West weather observer.

Waterspouts were observed in association with a cumulus cloud line aligned parallel and north of U.S. Highway One.

Began near Big Coppitt Key (24.6200, -81.6700).
