Hot afternoon temperatures and high relative humidity led to health issues to six children at a summer camp in Davie. The children were taken to Cleveland Clinic and Memorial West hospitals after suffering from heat exhaustion. Heat index values across the area were around 100 degrees at the time of the incident. These values are normal for this time of year.
