During Issac winds became sustained at 32 knots and gusted to 41 knots at KCRH. At KEHC winds were sustained at 37 knots gusting to 43 knots.

As Hurricane Issac made landfall well east of the area tropical storm conditions were felt across the coastal waters south of Southwest and South Central Louisiana.
