Event narrative

A nearly stationary waterspout formed on the Great Bay for about ten minutes. Several eyewitnesses saw and photoed the waterspout including a meteorologist from ION Weather and aircraft flying in the region. No damage to boats or injuries were reported.

Wider weather episode

A nearly stationary thunderstorm at the southern end of a line of thunderstorms produced a waterspout on the Great Bay between Atlantic and Ocean Counties.
