The wider storm

An intense Gulf of Alaska storm produced snow and strong wind across Kodiak Island and high wind across the Alaska Peninsula. Blizzard conditions occurred across portions of Kodiak Island. The wind gusts peaked around 81 mph in King Cove along the Alaska Peninsula.
