Snowfall around 7-13 inches was reported from Livingston to Wilsall.

A cold air mass moved south out of Canada and combined with a powerful storm system that moved in from the Pacific Northwest Coast. This resulted in periods of heavy snow across portions of the Billings Forecast Area. In addition, a freezing drizzle/snow mix occurred across the eastern portions of the area resulting in numerous vehicle slide offs.
