A waterspout was observed approximately 3 miles north of Sugarloaf Key. A thick condensation funnel cloud was observed.

Wider weather episode

A cumulus congestus cloud line developed over the north side of the Lower Florida Keys due to differential heating. A waterspout was observed in association with developing showers along the cloud line.
