Heavy rain resulted in the Nehalem River overflowing its banks and flooding surrounding low-level areas. The Nehalem River at Foss crested at 17.3 feet on November 19th at 3 pm 3.3 feet above flood stage.

Wider weather episode

A strong warm front lifted north across the region accompanied by heavy rain on Sunday. Widespread heavy rain continued to impact the Pacific Northwest Monday and Monday night as the strong and very moist front stalled over the area.
