Several spotters reported snowfall meeting warning criteria, especially at lower elevations. Chains were required on several roads and there were a few traffic accidents on these roads due to snow.

A winter storm dropped significant snowfall amounts over parts of Northwest California. This resulted in chain restrictions on the higher elevation roads.
