Event narrative

High tide and rainfall flooded SR 300 west of Belfair. A car got stuck in the flooded section of the roadway and was damaged by the saltwater.

Wider weather episode

High astronomical tides coincided with low pressure to cause record high tide levels throughout Puget Sound. Many homes and yards along the shoreline were flooded.
