The wider storm
A 40-year-old man was ascending a chute on the north face of Prospectors Mountain in Grand Teton National Park when an avalanche occurred above him. The slide, which triggered around 1030MST, carried the victim about 1,000 vertical feet from the Apocalypse Couloir.
