A man drowned at Terraplen sector in the municipality of Loiza. He was caught in a Rip Current.

Wider weather episode

Large long period north-northwest swells affected the Atlantic coastline of Puerto Rico,Culebra and the northern Virgin Islands. These swells produced large breaking waves and frequent rip currents, resulting in dangerous surf conditions.
