Moisture from a low pressure system in the Gulf of Alaska produced heavy snow for eastern and southern interior from the evening of the 23rd through the 25th. Over one foot of snow fell along the Richardson Highway from the 24th through the 25th. In Salcha up to 8 inches of snow was reported by a storm spotter. At Eagle in zone 224, near the Canada border, the Cooperative Observer reported 10 inches of snow.
