Wider weather episode

An upper trough moved through the Mississippi Valley during the day and into the evening on the 22nd. A shortwave moved across the Southeast, helping to focus shower and thunderstorm development. Scattered to numerous thunderstorms developed, and a couple of these were able to reach severe levels, bringing down trees.
