Event narrative
Heavy rainfall contributed to a collission of a tractor trailer rig and a pickup truck on Loop 7 in Athens. A passenger in the pickup was killed in the accident.

Thunderstorms developed ahead of a late Spring cold front as it pushed southeast across north Texas. Isolated minor wind damage occurred around the area late Wednesday night and Thursday morning associated with the storms.
