Several strong thunderstorms produced very heavy rainfall and accumulating hail in the vicinity of Grants and the Acoma Pueblo. The storms resulted in significant impacts to the Interstate 40 corridor just east of Grants. Rainfall amounts between 1 and 3 inches were reported.
