Event narrative

The Warren County emergency manager reported additional rainfall of around two inches on already wet soils caused the drainage systems to be overwhelmed leading to some washed out roads in the Warrenton area.

Wider weather episode

Several days of heavy rain caused very wet soil conditions across portions of central Georgia. Additional rainfall amounts around two inches in a few counties caused long-term areal flooding which washed out culverts or damaged several roads.
