Thunderstorm winds downed trees in Keshena. One tree fell onto a car and killed a 39 year old woman.

Wider weather episode

A broken line of severe storms developed in an unstable air mass ahead of an advancing cold front. The storms produced large hail and damaging wind gusts, at times in excess of 70 mph.
