Event narrative

Lightning struck the Greater Naples YMCA building on Pine Ridge Road and induced a fire reported by the Fire Marshall. Firefighters responded to the fire at 330 PM EDT to the fire already in progress. About 20,000 square feet of the building was completely burned, with the Gym sustaining most of the damage. Damage was estimated at 2 million dollars.
