Event narrative

A large debris flow came off of the Wood Hollow Fire burn scar following heavy rainfall. The flow was generally 3 feet deep, and ran 4 miles out of the burn scar, but did not impact the town of Fountain Green.

Wider weather episode

Thunderstorms continued across Utah for the beginning of August. These storms produced flash flooding across primarily central Utah, and one storm produced a strong microburst in the Salt Lake Valley.
